Seminar on High-Performance Torque-Controlled Humanoid Robots by Dr. Jinoh Lee (DLR)

On May 23rd, 2024, Dr. Jinoh Lee, Senior Research Scientist at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Adjunct Professor at KAIST, visited HARCO Lab to deliver a seminar titled:

“Towards High Performance Torque-Controlled Humanoid Robots”

In the seminar, Dr. Lee discussed the development of torque-controlled humanoid robots capable of operating in unstructured environments. He also introduced TORO, a humanoid robot developed by DLR, and shared recent research updates and challenges in compliant manipulation and robust locomotion.

The seminar offered valuable insights into cutting-edge research at the intersection of robotics and control, and provided an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with an expert in the field.
